What is a fat tyre e-bike best for? ⌄
The fat 20 x 4 inch tyres give extra grip and stability on gravel, sand, grass, trails and wet roads, plus a more cushioned ride — ideal for riders who want comfort and capability on any surface.
Are fat tyre e-bikes road legal in Australia? ⌄
It depends on the model. Our 250W DiroDi Rover models are EN 15194 certified and road legal in every state; the more powerful 250/500W and 1000W models are for off-road and private-property use. Check each product page and your state's rules.
How far can they go on a charge? ⌄
The DiroDi Rover range runs a 48V 20Ah battery for up to 120km in pedal-assist on flat terrain (40–80km on hills), depending on rider weight, terrain and assist level.
Can I carry a passenger? ⌄
The Rover range is built two-up where the model is manufactured to carry a passenger, with a 150kg total payload. Two-up riding is permitted on e-bikes designed for it — check the specific model and your state's rules.
How are they delivered? ⌄
Within 150km of our West End (Brisbane) base, ReadyRide Local delivers fully assembled for $69. Further out, ReadyRide Delivery brings it fully assembled to your door ($399 QLD/NSW/ACT/SA, $499 VIC) — the only fully-assembled e-bike delivery service in Australia. Express ($149) and Standard shipping also available.

Fat tyre e-bikes are built for the real world. The 20" × 4" tyres absorb road imperfections, grip loose surfaces, and roll over obstacles that would stop a standard bike cold. NG Mobility stocks the full DiroDi Rover Gen 6 range — Australia's most versatile fat tyre e-bike, available in road-legal 250W and off-road 1000W variants, with Step-Thru and Step-Over frames.
