All DiroDi Rover 250W models are EN 15194 certified and road-legal in every Australian state. No registration or licence required. Motor assist cuts out at 25 km/h.

The DiroDi Rover 500W models also offer a 250W road-legal mode: in 250W mode they are road-legal in all states (EN 15194), and in 500W mode they are road-legal in NSW only (EPAC certified). The 500W mode is not road-legal in QLD from 1 July 2026 under the new QLD eMobility laws, and is not road-legal in states other than NSW. Off-road 1000W models are for private property use only.
