Which DiroDi Rover model is right for me? ⌄
The 250W Road-Legal models are road-legal in every state and ideal for commuting and bike paths. The 500W models give more power and are road-legal in NSW only (not road-legal in other states). The 1000W models are built for off-road and private-property use. Our Brisbane team can help you choose.
Are DiroDi Rover e-bikes road legal in Australia? ⌄
The 250W models are EN 15194 certified and road-legal in every state — 250W continuous, pedal-assist to 25 km/h, throttle limited to 6 km/h, no registration required. The 500W models are EPAC certified and road-legal in NSW only (25 km/h cut-off, through to 1 March 2029); the 1000W models are for off-road use. E-bike rules vary by state, so check your local regulations.
How far do they go, and can I carry a passenger? ⌄
Up to 120km in pedal-assist on flat terrain (around 40–80km on hills). The Rover range is 2-person rated with a 150kg payload on models built to carry a passenger.
How are they delivered and assembled? ⌄
Within 150km of our West End (Brisbane) base, ReadyRide Local delivers fully assembled for $69. Further out, ReadyRide Delivery brings it fully assembled ($399 QLD/NSW/ACT/SA, $499 VIC) — the only fully-assembled e-bike delivery service in Australia. Express ($149) and Standard shipping also available.
Can I test ride one? ⌄
Yes — visit our Brisbane showroom at 232 Montague Road, West End to test ride the range.
What warranty and support do I get? ⌄
Up to a 2-year warranty backed by our Brisbane service team, with spare parts in stock. Australian Consumer Law statutory guarantees also apply.
