Product description

The flagship AIRDING. Maximum coverage including shoulders, plus everyday carry.

The Fusion AirRide is the most complete cycling airbag in the MASE range. Sensors monitor your position and acceleration 300 times per second; when the system recognises a crash pattern, the airbag inflates in under 150 milliseconds, helping cushion your face, cervical spine, collarbones, shoulders and upper torso. In AIHW hospital data, the shoulder and upper limb is the most commonly injured body region in cycling injury hospitalisations, which is exactly where the AirRide adds its extra coverage. A TÜV-certified back protector (EN 1621-2 Level 1) guards your spine on every ride.

Crash it, refold it, ride on. Fully reusable: refold the airbag, fit a new inflator cartridge, and you're back on the bike.

Before you ride

Fusion AirRide questions, answered

What makes the Fusion AirRide different?

A cycling airbag and a compact backpack in one. Fusion AirRide combines shoulder coverage, 2.5 litres of storage and an integrated back protector for rides where you need more than your jersey pockets.

Does a MASE airbag replace my helmet?

No. Wear an appropriate cycling helmet. The airbag is an additional piece of safety equipment, and helmet compatibility depends on the model. Follow MASE’s compatibility and fitting instructions.

How do I choose the right fit?

Choose the model for the storage and coverage you need, then check its sizing and fitting instructions. The pack must sit correctly and the system must be charged and activated before riding. We can help you check the fit at a Brisbane demo.

Can the airbag be used again after deployment?

MASE designs the system for reuse, subject to its post-deployment inspection and reset instructions. A replacement inflator is required after deployment. If the pack or airbag is damaged, stop using it and contact us before riding again.

Will it activate in every fall?

No airbag can cover every crash scenario or prevent every injury. Read MASE’s operating instructions and limitations, and check the system before every ride.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes. Book a MASE demo with NG Mobility in Brisbane using the booking link on this page. We can walk you through fit, setup and the differences between the models.
