BEFORE YOU BUY / VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY

Start with the vehicle. Plan the whole system.

Confirm your vehicle, rack and mounting system before ordering. Driving and parked load limits are different; check both against the complete installation and intended use.

THE AIR-FRAME SYSTEM

Air gives it shape. You make it camp.

Inflatable air beams form the supporting frame, replacing the main conventional pole structure. The fabric surrounding the air chambers helps hold their shape. Inflate with a suitable pump to the pressure specified in the model instructions, then secure the tent as directed. Inflation is one part of setup: site choice, anchoring and vehicle mounting also matter.

Considered from base to canopy.

A layered canvas space

The 200 g polyester-cotton body sits beneath a separate 300D Oxford raincover, rather than relying on one fabric layer.

Separate air chambers

The base and tent travel as one unit with separate inflation valves, giving each part a defined role in setup and pack-down.

Details for camp life

The listed kit adds a wheeled carry bag, base cover, repair kit and dimmable LED strip to the manual pump and ladder. Bring a power bank for the light.

ASSEMBLY / PACK-DOWN

From vehicle to your next view.

Before ordering, check your vehicle, roof rack and mounting system with the manufacturer or a qualified installer. Both driving and parked load limits apply. These videos demonstrate the Often rooftop family; fittings and steps may differ by model.

Watch the pack-down tutorial

  1. Check the whole system

Confirm vehicle and rack compatibility, dynamic and static load limits, and the required mounting hardware before installation.

  2. Mount to the instructions

Use the specified mounting method and suitable assistance for lifting. Check all attachment points with a qualified installer if unsure.

  3. Inflate and support

Follow the model sequence and stated pressures. Fit and secure the ladder and other supports as instructed before climbing in.

  4. Check before you leave

Follow the correct model pack-down process and transport configuration. Never drive with the tent deployed or anyone inside.

BEFORE THE NEXT ROAD TRIP

Good questions. Clear answers.

Will it fit my vehicle?

Vehicle compatibility needs checking before purchase. Send NG Mobility your vehicle model and year, roof-rack or crossbar model, and its stated load limits. The vehicle, rack and mounting system must all suit the tent and intended load; a tent weight alone does not confirm compatibility.

How much sleeping space does the Alligator provide?

The Alligator is listed for 2–3 adults and includes a 220 × 160 × 15 cm air mattress. Compare those dimensions with your preferred sleeping arrangement before purchase.

What materials does the Alligator use?

The body is listed as 200 g polyester-cotton, with a separate 300D Oxford raincover. The carry bag is 1000D Oxford; these are different components and their ratings should not be confused.

What is included with the Alligator?

The listing includes the inflatable base and tent, wheeled carry bag, base cover, high-volume manual pump, folding ladder, basic repair kit and dimmable interior LED strip. A power bank for the light is not included.

How should I pack and store the tent?

Let the fabric and base dry fully before long-term storage. Follow the supplied instructions for deflation, folding and securing the carry bag, and inspect valves and attachment points before your next trip.

Find your kind of outdoors.
